Aunt Liz's Attic
Aunt Liz's Waretown Witch: Adelaide
Aunt Liz's Attic evolved from the artist's love of old American quilts, coverlets, textiles, and her passion for history. All of Liz Carroll's designs are handmade in her New Jersey studio. Many pieces include hand molded and hand painted clay faces. Some of these faces utilize molds handed down from her mother, who was also an artist. Liz utilizes local senior citizens for basic sewing but does all the finishing herself. Her folk art is distinctly different due to the use of old textiles and her attention to the smallest of details. All her pieces are signed and bear the American flag as she is proud that everything is MADE IN AMERICA.
Materials can include but not limited to: polymer clay, wool, mix of antique/vintage textiles, lace, ribbons, buttons, natural/dried florals, accessories, fiber fill and sand.
Adelaide measurements: 18" x 5.5" x 12"; wt. 2 lbs
