Christmas Ornament: Peter Priess Christmas Egg Ornament; Christmas Angel
These fun Christmas ornament eggs are hand painted & decorated by Peter Priess in Salzburg, Austria. While Peter has retired, his family carries on his work and the company is now called Peter's Seasons GMBH.
The eggs are first processed in Denmark then flown to Salzburg to be decorated by hand using paint, beads and decorative applique. They are exquisitely detailed and measure just about 2-3 inches; they have a single ribbon, which runs through the egg creating a bow at the bottom on which the eggs rests and a slip-loop knot at the top to hang from a tree or ornament stand. Note: Due to their extreme fragility, I will take every precaution to ensure the egg's safe arrival. Before shipping I will inspect the egg thoroughly for any hair line cracks or imperfections. Eggs are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap then boxed in their own box with tissue; that box is then packed with peanuts and/or additional bubble wrap in a sturdy shipping carton. Multiple eggs may be packed in an egg carton or other larger box. Because of their hand-decorated nature, no 2 eggs are alike, so you may receive an egg that while the same character, color, pattern, etc. may not be the one pictured in this listing. The size of the eggs can also differ from one another as they are real eggs. The ribbon can also vary in length. I usually make the slip-loop knot for you, but if you prefer to receive the egg without the loop and do it yourself, please message me and I will simply leave the ribbon as is.
